This key and tag were from a cruise my mum and I enjoyed years ago.  I was living in Florida and she came for a visit. I have inherited her joy of making plans at the last moment. After a drive around Miami, we somehow ended up at the cruise docks. A few days later we were on the Leonardo DaVinci, enjoying a three-day cruise to the Bahamas.

Catching up as for some reason I was wiped the last few days. Off to town shortly for a lecture on early Viking settlement in the Isle of Man. Thursday will be back to town for an all day workshop on pain management.

I was feeling all virtuous when I got up at 830 this am,til I saw the kitchen clock- clocks went back this am. Oh well. Up and atem, started by skimming the chicken fat off the stock for Thai Chicken soup and Chicken Pot pie. Here are my favourite mugs for drinking hot beverages, Earl Grey tea, chai or hot chocolate. I LOVE a fine china mug, these are Royal Doulton and Royal Worcester. The latter was purchased in England in 1989, the former here in Canada, in 1987. All are used multiple times daily, in and out of dishwashers and still look like new.
